Research

To imagine the future, I looked to the past. Conducting research into 20th Century Utopian publications and manifestos.

Iterations

I experimented with archival imagery depicitng scientific experiments and technology innovations.

Illustrations

I utilised a 'spot the difference' illustration as an engagement tool, drawing inspiration from hand-drawn architectural drawings.

Refining

However this approach felt clinical and uninspired, so I shifted focus to more vibrant colours.

Clarity

Finally, I split the colour schemes to ensure the Dystopian and Utopian illustrations were distinguishable from one and other.
