Pulling Focus
I researched a variety of materials before deciding on metal as a focal point.
Pulling Focus
I wanted to keep my research broad, allowing me to make connections between seemingly disparate concepts.
Outcomes
I wrote a selection of articles during my research, from fracking to hostile architecture. These formed the basis of the final publication.
Iterations
The sculptural outputs were fabricated by hand, and photographed in a make-shift studio.
Process
Ensuring the lighting, framing and position of the objects was especially challenging. As the surface of the sculptures were highly reflective.
